From very small begin\u00adnings, Naume<\/a> and Kenneth<\/a> have created a home for around 30 chil\u00addren over the course of eight years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The orphanage project grew step by step. Bricks were bought indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adally and the first brick hut was built. Initially, the chil\u00addren slept on the floor, beds were only added later. A simple kitchen was added, then a wash\u00adroom and a latrine. But the most impor\u00adtant goal was to offer orphans not only a place to survive, but also the warmth of a nest in a family-like commu\u00adnity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high\u00adlight so far has been the construc\u00adtion of a school, which opened at the begin\u00adning of 2024. A real game changer for the chil\u00addren of the orphanage and the entire village commu\u00adnity! And to be continued: We will report regu\u00adlarly on life, learning and all devel\u00adop\u00adments at HOREMI in this blog!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
