The construc\u00adtion is neces\u00adsary so that HOREMI can also offer primary school classes P5 to P7, as required by the Ugandan author\u00adi\u00adties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Less than four weeks later: around 30,000 bricks have been laid and all the walls of the new school building are in place. The veranda and pillars are currently being erected, then it will be the turn of the roof construc\u00adtion. The 18 windows and five entrance doors for the new rooms \u2014 three class\u00adrooms, a library and a computer room \u2014 have also already been deliv\u00adered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Stein um Stein \/ Stand 1. Juli 2025\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LxrGPQbimmY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The funds required for the building mate\u00adrials and wages \u2014 a good 12,000 euros according to current plan\u00adning \u2014 are sent to Uganda in indi\u00advidual tranches via special\u00adized transfer service providers. Some\u00adtimes the construc\u00adtion work progresses faster than the transfer of the money. But as soon as the Uganda shillings arrive, the next day\u2019s photos imme\u00addi\u00adately show the progress of the construc\u00adtion work. Kenneth says: \u201cIt\u2019s very easy, a few phone calls and just a short time later the site manager and the helpers are with us. A clear sign that there is never enough work for the many people in the region. The school provides them anyway, as chil\u00addren from the surrounding area receive a high-quality educa\u00adtion here.
